We had great 4 days at Pat-Mase Villa. Just a couple of comment. Firstly, the Villa was not at all private. Our supposedly private pool was visible by the adjoining villas. Secondly, we were a bit disappointed with the quality of food at the pat-mase. We tired the breakfast the first morning and found everything from the toast to the jam or "fresh fruit salad" to be very stale, so for the next 3 days we chose to go out to other resorts for our meals. However, what we really appreciated was that they gave us a free very late check out since our flight was not until much later that night.

Very disappoined that only one of the two bungalows had facilities, such as chairs, table, mosquito net, towel rail, bath salts. Communal sitting area was prone to bird droppings. Certain food items not always available though on menu. We would definately return to Pat Mase, it's a wonderful relaxing hide-away. Absolutely excellent, charming and helpful staff

Our villa was absolutely awesome! The staff were prompt and friendly. The general cleanliness of the villa was good, but unfortunatelty the kitchen was a mess. The cupboards were dirty and the utensils were in very poor condition. I would recommend that the staff dry all kitchenware properly before putting it away and also that they use CLEAN, DRY cloths to do so. The restaurant was a bit disappointing (food was cold and flies were bothersome) If you could give some much needed attention to the kichen, you can fire away with promoting your excellent villas vigorously. It was so much more than I ever imagined!

Great value for money, relatively speaking. Design and Layout of Villa with Pool are amazing. Staff was first class. Simply superb. Infrastructure left much to be desired though (air con was not powerful. blinds in the toilet were broken, kitchen looked run down). Cleanliness was lacking too (toilet floor was a little sticky when we first checked in, swimming lounge chairs were covered with ants, kitchen and appliances looked not clean enough for use). Overall, still a fantastic place to stay at when in Bali. I just hope they follow up on my comments above.

The service was warm and welcoming and the villas were gorgeous - beautiful, thoughtfully designed, very spacious and with good facilities such as a lovely spacious marble bathroom with dressing area; a well furnished, large, thatch roofed, open air lounge / dining room with a subtly lit vaulted ceiling; full kitchen; large TVs with a selection of satellite channels and a vCD player. A wonderful place to relax in isolation for a few days! You can order a range of meals to be cooked in your villa by the staff and they are of an excellent quality - not the cheapest but certainly cheaper than the local 4-5 star hotels. We had a Balinese barbeque cooked in our villa one night which was plentiful and absolutely delicious - an excellent value feast! Our private garden was spacious, very pretty and had a private pool, sunbeds and table & chairs. It was a bit shady though which made the pool water quite cold. We also used a larger (and sunnier / warmer) pool accessed from a gate in our private garden and shared with only the 3 other villas around the pool. Our garden was not quite as private as we would have liked, with staff popping in un-invited to cook/clean from time to time, staff cleaning the shared pool next door frequently thus overlooking our garden/pool and the other villa guests were able to see in while occasionally using the shared pool. So naked sunbathing not recommended here! The villa complex is a little isolated and not near the beach. There is little in the way of shops or other restaurants within walking distance of the villas but it is a short taxi ride into the town at Jimbaran, taxis are cheap and there are eateries and hotel restaurants there. We stayed at Pat Mase for 3 nights which was lovely but any longer and we would have been craving somewhere a little less isolating.
